Join us for a vibrant celebration of the beloved "heartbreak grape"—Pinot Noir—and the folks who transform it into the exceptional wines we love. This immersive experience invites you to meet the passionate winemakers behind each bottle, hear their stories, and gain insight into the meticulous process of cultivating and crafting this notoriously delicate yet rewarding varietal. From vineyard to cellar, explore the dedication, skill, and artistry that go into producing world-class Pinot Noir, all while savouring the fruits of their labour.
Noir Fest isn’t your typical wine festival—it’s a backyard BBQ with a twist. Relax, sip, and mingle with the Winemakers behind your favorite Pinot Noirs in an intimate, laid-back setting.
This year, Noir Fest unfolds at the picturesque Sixty Forty Farms. Winemakers will be stationed throughout the property, inviting you to explore diverse settings while savoring exceptional Pinot Noirs.
Of course, great wine deserves incredible food. We’ve partnered with Top Chef Canada Season 7 winner Paul Moran, a fifth-generation forager with a deep respect for farming, community, and the land. He and his team will be stationed around his beautiful property, Sixty Forty Farms in Central Saanich, curating a selection of bites designed to complement and elevate the flavors of Pinot Noir. Expect a menu inspired by the season’s freshest ingredients, featuring wood-fired dishes, foraged delicacies, and expertly crafted pairings that highlight the depth and character of each wine.
Sip, taste, and experience Noir Fest like never before.
Your ticket includes exclusive wine tastings and thoughtfully curated bites, ensuring you get the full Noir Fest experience—exceptional Pinot Noir, incredible food, and a laid-back, immersive atmosphere.
Noir Fest is held from 1pm to 5pm. You can show up anytime , just make sure to leave yourself adequate time for the full experience
Nope! Are you comfortable dressed to the nines, or do you prefer jeans and a Tshirt? Either one is good with us. Keep in mind this is an outdoor festival on Vancouver Island and the weather can be unpredictable. We suggest being prepared for sun, wind and rain. Layers! Sixty Forty is a working farm, so heels might get tricky- wear them at your own risk ;)
Noir Fest is a 19+ event
We love doggos, but as Sixty Forty is a working farm, we think it's best Clifford stays home for this one.
There will be parking on the property, and staff there to guide you. Be prepared for a potential short trek. Of course we ask that you consume responsibly, and we have to say- don't drink and drive.
Tickets are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to someone else.
Yep! Cook St Liquor will be onsite with a pop-up wine shop. You can grab your top Pinots from the day to take home with you.
